Due to the shallow gene pool and small population in The Bahamas, 27% of Bahamian breast cancer patient is seen with and has gene mutation that related to breast cancer. An aggressive campaign is launched to test 8000 women over four years to determine their risk of cancer and see if they have the mutated gene.
