Better for Whom?

New gambling bill promotes double standards

Prime Minister Perry Christie participated in the official opening of the new Resorts World Bimini Bay Casino at Bimini on June 28, 2013.       How is it that Bahamians are not along to gamble in their own country but visitors can. The Referendum for Gambling was voted on to illegalized gambling and close down the web shops.  We as Bahamian will basically be second class citizens in our own country. We need to stand up for what is right.

A Roman couple was accused of abducting a 4-year-old girl the "blonde angel". They told the court that her biological mother willingly gave her to them as a baby because she could not look after the girl. The little girl, known as Maria, has riveted Greece and prompted thousands of calls with leads from across the world as authorities try to track down her real parents. Are these people serious? This child will stand out from them. But if is truth that her mother give her to them, that mother should be punished.
