Better for Whom?

New gambling bill promotes double standards

Prime Minister Perry Christie participated in the official opening of the new Resorts World Bimini Bay Casino at Bimini on June 28, 2013. This file photo by Peter Ramsay shows seated from left: President of RAV Bahamas Gerardo Capo; Prime Minister Christie; his wife; Bernadette, Resorts World and Genting Group Chairman Kok Thay Lim; Deputy Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis and his wife, Ann Marie Davis.       How is it that Bahamians are not along to gamble in their own country but visitors can. The Referendum for Gambling was voted on to illegalized gambling and close down the web shops.  We as Bahamian will basically be second class citizens in our own country. We need to stand up for what is right.
